 Attractive puzzle, easy to put together Feb 09, 2010

This puzzle is definitely easy to put together with two people in one hour so it's a fun diversion, but not a challenge. However, the puzzle itself is very pleasant. The image is very attractive and the scene makes it easy to separate puzzle pieces (300 pieces, well-sized) so two people can be working on different parts of the puzzle at a time without worrying if they have all the pieces in front of them for their section. The pieces are well cut so finding the right piece by shape is easy. On the table, the pieces stay together very well, but you can't grab a section you've done and simply hand it over to someone to place into the puzzle because the pieces aren't interlocking (the grouping will sag and pieces will fall off even if it's just 6 connected pieces so be sure to keep your sections near the puzzle and move carefully). Having this puzzle as our first Ravensburger puzzle let us know that we liked the quality. We have since purchased 10 more puzzles to put together, with six or seven coming from that maker. This would be a great puzzle for 9 to 14 year olds and excellent to have in a nursing home because the pieces are well sized and it wouldn't be too time-consuming. For adults who only like very challenging puzzles, you need much more than this can deliver. But if you occasionally like to also put together a puzzle just for the fun and without worrying about time to finish it, it can be a really nice one to add to your collection. When I was done with the puzzle, I wanted to do it again the next day because I enjoyed putting it together so much. It was very relaxing.

Arrived in good shape. But, I would have liked to know number of pieces and their size. This was only 350 large pieces. Also, no age limit on the puzzle. We wanted a puzzle for adults...this is not one of those,
